Clan Buchanan to storm the Alamo!
At the San Antonio Highland Games and Celtic Music Festival there are events for all ages from the young to the young at heart!
This 22nd anniversary festival will be the host to a myriad of activities including traditional Scottish heavy athletics, Celtic dance and music performances, genealogy information in the Clan Village, children's activities in the Kid's Glen, Living History activities and seminars, and parade of Scottish dogs.
Join the San Antonio Highland Games Association and help make the 2022 San Antonio Games the premier Highland event in Texas.

The Clan Buchanan AGM and Clan tent will be convened by Bill and Gina McQuatters, please contact them for any details or to support.
Dress code will be Black Lion shirts if you have them, especially on Saturday which will be Black Lion Day. Black Lion shirts and Texas Black Lion shirts will be available at the Clan tent.

Friday evening we will gather for an opening ceremony at the Alamo.
Meet at Mad Dogs Pub (123 Losoya St #19, San Antonio, TX) on the river for a social sponsored by The Scottish Society of San Antonio from 2:30-3:30. Then we will all march to the Alamo for a Tartan Day ceremony where we will honor those that sacrificed their lives defending the Alamo.
After the opening ceremony, Clay and Julie Buchanan have offered to host a BBQ at their newly constructed castle (AKA Castle Buchanan West). Cost is $25 per person payable to Clay via Paypal or Venmo.
