HEAVY GAMES

This is only the second year a Scottish heavy games event has been held in a park in North Queensland following the successful introduction last year! Events will include the ever popular Caber Toss!

Two professional level guest competitors from Brisbane will be taking part plus local pro and novice competitors.

PIPING & DRUMMING

A great opportunity to hear bagpipes and drums in the open air where there is space to really appreciate these powerful instruments.

Participating pipe bands or solo pipers and drummers will play in between the Heavy Games events.

CLAN & INFO. TENTS

Experience a bit of Scottish culture: Clans Buchanan, Edmonstone and Forsyth will each have a strong presence.

Plus Townsville Scottish Community and Scottish Country Dancing will also have information tents.

SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCING

Display of Scottish Country Dancing accompanied by Iain Mckenzie on accordion will take place after the Official Opening.
